Cookie policy
We keep cookies to a minimum. This page explains exactly what is stored, why, and how to control it.
1. What this page covers
This page explains what this website stores in, or reads from, your browser, why, and how you can control it. You can change your choices at any time with Cookie Settings in the footer of every page.
2. Strictly necessary (always on)
These two records are needed for the site to work the way you expect. They stay in your browser, are never sent to us and are not used for tracking.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
pe-theme | Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. If you never choose, the site follows your device setting. | Until you clear it |
pe-consent | Remembers your cookie choices so we do not ask on every visit. | Up to 12 months |
Security check on forms
Our enquiry and booking forms are protected from spam and automated abuse by a security check from Cloudflare (Turnstile). When this check is switched on, your browser loads it from Cloudflare so that Cloudflare can tell a person from a bot. Cloudflare handles that information under its own privacy policy.
3. Booking calendar
The booking calendar detects your time zone in your browser so it can show times that suit you. It does not store anything in your browser. The details you submit are handled as described in our Privacy policy.
4. Fonts
Our typefaces are served from our own hosting, so no third party is contacted to load them.
5. Analytics, performance, functional, advertising and social media (optional)
None of these categories is active on this website today. If we add any of them in future, they will stay off until you choose to switch them on, and we will update this page first.
6. Changing or withdrawing your choices
Open Cookie Settings from the footer at any time to review, change or withdraw your choices. You can also clear this site's stored data in your browser settings, after which we will ask you again.
7. Related policies and contact
See our Privacy policy for how we handle personal information. If you have a question about cookies, please use the contact form.
